We love hosting events and having live music. As a small business, we face the challenge of balancing the cost of entertainment against a forecasted ROI.

While we understand that many Artists are performing as a primary or supplemental means of generating additional income (we fully respect the side hustle), it doesn't make financial sense for the Venue to pay a $150+ guarantee just to have 4 people show up. For this reason, we give the priority of booking slots to artists who participate in the business aspect of their trade. 

As a general practice for ticketed events, Rocket Republic will work with the Artist or their Management to determine a ticket price and will guarantee the full amount of both advance and door sales less negotiated advertising costs and other expenses. We will also provide an area for merch, with 100% of those sales retained by the artist. Any other guarantee arrangements and riders must be mutually agreed upon and executed in writing by the Venue's owner. 

For non-ticketed (no cover) events, Rocket Republic will generally provide a pre-negotiated stipend for fuel and food, along with a tiered bonus based on sales during the performance + 30 minutes on either side. This means that your earnings are literally under your own control!

Value-Added Terms & Conditions for all events:

1. The Venue will create standard event artwork (formatted for FB post, FB event cover, ticket link cover, and IG post), subject to the review and approval of the artist as per agreement
2. The Venue will add the event to the Event Calendar on www.rocketrepublicHSV
3. The Venue will "announce" via the creation the FB event page and add the artist and / or management agency as a co-host
4. The Venue will create the ticketing link for the event
5. The Venue will make at least two posts in the "Discussion" section of the FB event; one will include a link to the Artist's website or social page and the other will backlink to the Artist's music (SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
6. The Venue will add the event to its weekly line-up post the Sunday prior to the event
7. The Venue will like, comment, and / or share on any related posts made by the Artist leading up to the event
8. The Venue will match the Artist's social media ad spend up to $125 when added as a collaborator
9. If so agreed, the Artist will review and approve the Venue-created artwork within 24 hours of submission or otherwise provide it's own artwork in similar formats
10. The Artist will accept the co-host invitation
11. The Artist will make at least one post sharing the event page link after "announcement" to its primary social media page and tag the Venue's page in the text description
12. The Artist will share the Sunday weekly line-up post
13. The Artist will use the #rocketrepublic and #rocketrepublicHSV hashtags in all related posts
14. The Artist will create and share a short personalized promo video for the event suitable for the Venue's website and social media, inviting people to "come see us at Rocket Republic in downtown Huntsville" not later than the Monday preceding their event
15. For non-ticketed events only, the Artist will personally send out not less than 100 invites to the event via social media and share the event with at least two FB groups within 48 hours of "announcement"
